Excursion offers:
1. Asparagus production farm in Beelitz
Do you know that asparagus is the most important vegetable crop in Germany? One of the most famous region of asparagus production is Beelitz, located near Berlin. This excursion will bring you to the farm of the Buschmann & Winkelmann families, a popular destination due to their asparagus, strawberry and blueberry cultivation. Producing these three horticultural crops is very labor intensive and harvest atomatization is still a dream. The participant will experience the production systems of these crop, in combination with the Klaistow adventure farm (seasonal cuisine and events) that provides a place to introduce urban citizens to regional cultivation of fruit and vegetables. Furthermore, we will visit an idyllically located blueberry orchard in a pine forest.

2. Visiting Museum Island in Berlin
The Berlin Museum Island (UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999) is a neighbor of Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. The Museum Island has achieved a high international reputation as a unique synthesis of the arts with its famous museum buildings. It is one of the most important sights in the German capital and one of the most important museum complexes in Europe. The Museum Island consists of the Old Museum, the New Museum, the Old National Gallery, the Bode Museum and the Pergamon Museum and is home to outstanding collections that range from prehistory and antiquity to art of the 19th century. This guided tour will bring you to the these museums.
3. City sightseeing tour by boat
This excursion will bring participants to view Berlin from a different perspective: from the river Spree. The tour boat will take you to numerous highlights of Berlin along the Spree, including Bellevue Palace (Federal President), Nikolai-Viertel (origin of Berlin), government district and Museum Island. You will experience the history and development of Berlin with professional guide on board.

4. Guided tour of “Prussian Versailles” Sanssouci Park in Potsdam
The world famous Sanssouci is an ensemble of palaces and gardens in the former residential city of Potsdam and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1990. From 1747 to 1918 it served as the summer residence of the Prussian kings and German emperors. The 300 ha park with its unique terraces and the magnificent fountain in the center is of art-historical importance. For more than 250 years, the highest garden art has been combined here with the works of the most capable architects and sculptors from different eras. Visitors can wander through the changing styles of exquisite garden art. The aesthetics and philosophy of the former residents of these palace complexes can be discovered in the perfectly formed garden areas, architecture, water features or in the more than 1,000 sculptures.
